2-1/2" slip is designed to fit over flexible or rigid pipe with 2-1/2" inside diameter, or 2-1/2" spigot. The dimensions account for the pipe's thickness, making them larger than measured.
2-1/2" spigot is the same dimensions as pipe with 2-1/2" inside diameter. Fits inside a 2-1/2" slip fitting.
Used in hot tub and pool plumbing
